With each ticket, we are giving a disadvantaged kid a desk and a book by a local author. The book is For Everything There is a Season by Margi Pulliam.

About the event
Every kid needs a desk to do their school work on. We are planning on delivering 13 desks to kids around the community in need, plus the book For Everything There is a Season by a local writer and artist.
"I don't want to take a nap!"
Meet the hero of every child who hates nap-time, and every adult who loves it! Readers follow an endearing little bear cub who tries to resist the inevitable hibernation “nap” and eventually must succumb. This story, with its hilarious illustrations, can be enjoyed by those who don’t want to nap, and by those who want them to, again and again.
The children will be from 1st to 3rd graders. Thanks so much for any help you can give.
