Zucchini is a staple in the summer garden.  Make sure you don't start too soon as your squashes and zucchini need warm weather.
 
Offer shade from the hot afternoon sun in July and August and you will get a big surprise as your zucchini starts producing again in the fall.
 
Plant from late April (if it is warm) until late July. Plant every two weeks for maximum harvest.
